Spanish Teacher – Chelmsford (2 Days Per Week, 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract)

Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming secondary school in Chelmsford, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department on a part-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate linguist to teach Spanish within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. The role is offered on a 2-day-per-week basis and is available on a 1-year fixed-term contract, making it ideal for teachers seeking a flexible working arrangement.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Supporting students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish
• Preparing students for GCSE examinations
• Assessing work and providing clear, constructive feedback
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Monitoring student progress and implementing strategies to support achievement
• Working collaboratively within a supportive MFL department

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Spanish in a UK secondary school or college
• Strong subject knowledge and an engaging teaching approach
• Ability to inspire a love of languages and cultural understanding
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Professional, reliable, and adaptable attitude
• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
