Responsibilities of Manufacturing Engineer

Lead Continuous Improvement projects using Lean tools: Kaizen, SMED, Six Sigma, 5S, 8D, Value Stream Mapping
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to meet quality standards
Implement robust process controls and error-proofing solutions
Support new product development from concept to launch
Specify and validate equipment, tooling, and fixtures
Drive cost reduction through process optimisation and value engineering
Prepare CapEx reports with justification and cost analysis
Contribute to capital investment planning and executionRequirements for the Manufacturing Engineer Role

HND/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial preferred)
Experience in high-volume manufacturing (automotive or similar)
Practical exposure to Lean methodologies and problem-solving tools
Knowledge of automated assembly systems, tooling and test equipment
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Six Sigma Green/Black Belt advantageous
Experience with CapEx projects beneficialAbout You
