Data Scientist - Advanced Analytics - MOD/Defence Project, Farnborough, Hybrid, £500-700 per day Outside IR35

Contract opportunity for a Data Scientist with experience in Analytics for a large MOD project. This is for a defence consultancy and security clearance (SC) would be needed prior to engagement. Due to the nature of the role, 3 days per week in Farnborough is needed.

Key skills required

• Data preparation, validation, analysis, and modelling
• Experience with mathematical optimisation, rules programming, and analytics
• Model performance testing, identifying areas of improvement, and implementation
• Working with large data sets, with thousands of objects, with complex meta data and characteristics
• Good problem solver

This programme is a new innovative piece of working with the MOD.
