HGV Technician – Basildon
Salary: £23 per hour
Location: Basildon
Hours: Rotating Shifts (see below)
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Week 2: 1:30pm – 10:00pm
1 in 2 Saturdays: 7:00am – 12:00pmBenefits for HGV Technician:
Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)

Opportunities for progression and trainingRole Overview for HGV Technician: We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Basildon. You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of HGV and LCV vehicles, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role in a well-equipped workshop, with opportunities to support the smooth operation of the fleet.
Candidate Requirements for HGV Technician:
Minimum 3 years’ experience working on LCVs or HGVs
Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
