The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Asbestos Surveyor to join a growing environmental consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial projects, delivering high-quality asbestos surveys in line with UK legislation and industry standards.
You will play a key role in ensuring our clients remain compliant, safe, and well-informed through accurate inspections and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
Carry out bulk sampling of suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
Produce clear, accurate, and compliant survey reports
Ensure work aligns with HSG264 and all relevant regulations
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Maintain high standards of health & safety on site
Travel to sites across the region as required
About You
BOHS P402 qualified (essential)
Minimum 1-2 years' experience in asbestos surveying
Strong working knowledge of UK asbestos regulations and HSG264 guidance
Experience conducting both Management and R&D surveys
Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
Good communication and client-facing ability
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Additional BOHS modules (e.g. P403, P404)
Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
CSCS card
