Senior Setting Out Engineer – RAF Lakenheath (18-Month Contract)
Location: RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk
Duration: 18 Months
Start Date: Approximately 2 Weeks
Rate: Competitive (DOE) UPTO £450 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Senior Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project at RAF Lakenheath. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile scheme with a well-established contractor.
The successful candidate must be exceptionally diligent, highly accurate, and capable of delivering setting out works to the highest standards.
Scope of Works:
* Setting out for roads and infrastructure packages
* Deep drainage works
* Extensive ducting installations
* As-built surveys and quality assurance checks
* Ensuring all setting out is completed accurately and in line with project specifications
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Setting Out Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Strong background in roads, drainage, and utilities/ducting works
* Ability to work independently and proactively manage setting out requirements
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Equipment:
* Total Station and GPS equipment can be provided if required
Security Requirements:
Due to the nature of the project, a British Passport holder is strongly preferred to assist with site access and security clearance processes.
