Senior Quantity Surveyor - Offshore Wind Project
Join a major offshore wind project supporting the Wind Turbine Package based out of Hull.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of a large-scale offshore wind project. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Project Manager, you will focus on claims management, Extension of Time (EOT) support, quantum assessments, and cost tracking across both client and subcontractor claims.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and support commercial claims, EOTs, and compensation events.
Develop quantum assessments and detailed cost substantiation.
Track project activities and allocate costs to work packages and claim events.
Produce cost reports, forecasts, and commercial updates.
Maintain accurate, auditable project records and support risk reviews.
Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders on commercial matters.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar.
Strong experience in quantity surveying/commercial management on major construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
Proven background in claims management, EOTs, cost tracking, and quantum analysis.
Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
RICS chartered status or working towards it.
Experience in offshore wind, renewables, marine, or major infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of FIDIC or EPC/EPCI contracts.
