The Role - HLTA
Seeking a resilient and proactive HLTA to support pupils aged 5-16 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to deliver targeted interventions, provide classroom support and lead lessons in the absence of teaching staff. The role involves supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs, implementing behaviour strategies, monitoring progress and helping to create a structured and engaging learning environment. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.

This specialist SEMH provision is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is within walking distance of a nearby National Rail station. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, many of whom have experienced barriers to learning and disrupted education.
