We are looking to recruit Home Care Workers who are passionate about providing persons lead, top-notch healthcare to adults.

Role / Responsibility
The basic roles and responsibilities of a home care worker for elderly patients include providing personal support, helping with daily activities, promoting safety, and maintaining the person's dignity and independence.
1. Personal Care, could include the following:
Assisting with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
Helping with dressing and grooming
Supporting toileting and continence care
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking
2. Medication Support, could include the following:
Reminding clients to take prescribed medications
Assisting with medication according to care plans and local regulations
Monitoring for side effects or changes in health and reporting concerns
3. Household Assistance, could include the following:
Light housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, tidying)
Making beds and changing linens
Shopping for groceries and essential items
Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding if required
4. Health Monitoring, could include the following:
Observing physical and emotional well-being
Reporting changes in condition to family members, nurses, or supervisors
Recording care activities and observations accurately
Encouraging healthy habits and hydration
5. Emotional and Social Support, could include the following:
Providing companionship and conversation
Reducing feelings of loneliness and isolation
Supporting hobbies, interests, and social activities
Offering reassurance and emotional encouragement
6. Safety and Protection, could include the following:
Ensuring a safe home environment
Identifying and reporting hazards such as fall risks
Following infection control and hygiene procedures
Recognising and reporting signs of abuse, neglect, or safeguarding concerns
7. Supporting Independence, could include the following:
Encouraging clients to do as much as they can for themselves
Respecting personal choices, privacy, and dignity
Promoting confidence and self-esteem
Supporting independence while providing necessary assistance
8. Communication and Professionalism, could include the following:
Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy
Following care plans and organizational policies
Treating clients with respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity
Key Skills of a Home Care Worker

* Good communication skills
* Reliability and responsibility
* Observation and problem-solving skills
