We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Care Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established elderly, residential care home with a good rating, supporting 60 residents based in Hounslow, West London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care, maintaining high standards, and developing a motivated and professional care team.
As Registered Care Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the home operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations while promoting a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership and management to the care home team.
* Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home
* Ensure the highest standards of person-centred care are delivered at all times.
* Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
* Manage staffing, recruitment, training, supervision, and performance.
* Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
* Monitor budgets, resources, and occupancy levels effectively.
* Maintain High occupancy, build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and resident wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or higher qualification).
* Minimum 3 years' management or senior leadership experience within a residential care home setting.
* Strong understanding of care regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
* Ability to work flexibly and respond to operational needs.
* Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards
* Right to work in the UK.
* A fully enhanced DBS either registered on the DBS update service or willing to do one.
Desirable
* Experience managing a medium to large residential care service.
* Experience preparing for and managing inspections.
* Knowledge of budget management and occupancy growth.
