Civil Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Engineer to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors, from feasibility and design through to construction and completion. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to technically strong, efficient and sustainable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer, your main duties will include:
·Supporting project delivery from early concept through to construction and handover
·Producing engineering calculations, technical reports, drawings and specifications
·Assisting with project planning, programme tracking and commercial documentation
·Coordinating with clients, contractors, external stakeholders and internal teams
·Undertaking site visits, inspections and surveys and reporting findings
·Helping prepare proposals and supporting business development activities
·Ensuring compliance with relevant technical standards, health & safety and contractual requirements
What We're Looking For
Candidates should demonstrate:
·Accredited degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng/BSc) or equivalent
·Experience in civil engineering design and project coordination, preferably within consultancy or professional engineering environment
·Solid technical understanding of civil infrastructure - including drainage, highways and flood risk principles
·Good written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams
·Experience liaising with external bodies (e.g., highway authorities, statutory undertakers) is desirable
·Competency in civil engineering software (e.g., Civils 3D, InfoDrainage or similar) is an advantage
