About the Role
We are working in partnership with a highly regarded SEND & Inclusion Service to recruit a Senior EHC Coordinator (Deputy Area Inclusion Lead) on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting children and young people aged 0–25 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will contribute to delivering high-quality, outcome-focused Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and ensuring statutory processes are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
Support Area Inclusion Hub Leads in overseeing statutory EHC needs assessments and Annual Review processes
Provide high-level quality assurance of EHCPs, ensuring they are clear, compliant, and outcome-focused
Manage a complex caseload, ensuring statutory timelines (including the 20-week process) are adhered to
Coordinate multi-agency input from education, health, and social care professionals
Maintain strong relationships with families, schools, and stakeholders
Contribute to service development, performance monitoring, and continuous improvementAbout You
We are looking for an experienced SEND professional who can demonstrate:

Significant experience working within SEND statutory processes
A strong understanding of what constitutes a high-quality, outcome-focused EHCP
Extensive experience as an EHC Coordinator or in a similar role
Confidence managing complex cases and working collaboratively across multi-agency teams
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act and SEND Code of PracticeWhy Apply?
