Location: Aylestone
Salary: Upto £40000
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Our client, a well-established early years setting, is seeking an experienced and committed Early Years Manager to lead the nursery’s day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding standards of care and education.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about early childhood development, team management, and creating a positive, high-quality learning environment.
The Role
*
Lead and manage the nursery in line with EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
*
Support, motivate and develop the staff team through effective leadership
*
Maintain high standards of practice, care and compliance across the setting
*
Oversee staffing, ratios, rotas and performance management
*
Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external professionals
*
Prepare for and manage inspections, audits and quality assurance processes
*
Contribute to occupancy, budgets and the smooth running of the nursery
The Ideal Candidate
*
Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
*
Proven experience in an Early Years Manager, Deputy Manager or similar leadership role
*
Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
*
Confident people manager with excellent communication skills
*
Organised, professional and solutions-focused
*
Passionate about delivering high-quality early education
