Location: Narborough
Salary: Upto £35,500
Hours: Full-time, permanent

Our client, a well-established early years setting, is seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of one of their nursery rooms.

This role is ideal for a confident early years practitioner who enjoys leading by example, supporting colleagues, and delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

The Role

Lead and manage a designated room within the nursery

*

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS

*

Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing

*

Supervise, mentor and support room staff

*

Ensure safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times

*

Build positive relationships with parents and carers

*

Maintain accurate observations, assessments and records

The Ideal Candidate

*

Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

*

Previous experience as a Room Leader or experienced practitioner ready to step up

*

Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework

*

Confident in leading and supporting a small team

*

Organised, enthusiastic and child-focused

*

Excellent communication skills
