Full Stack Application Support
We are seeking a bilingual (French & English) Application Support Engineer to join our team onsite in Bourgogne, France. This role combines application support, troubleshooting, enhancement, and development responsibilities while working closely with local business users and offshore teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience supporting business-critical applications, and exposure to Java Full Stack development, Angular, and AWS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite support for business applications and resolve end-user issues and tickets.
- Gain technical and functional knowledge of supported applications.
- Enhance and maintain existing applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and stakeholders in English.
- Coordinate with French-speaking business users and stakeholders.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in CI/CD activities and deployment processes.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational reports.
- Attend status meetings and provide regular project updates.
- Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support critical production issues and major outages when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on SQL experience (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Strong experience supporting business-critical applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues.
- Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.
- AWS experience (2+ years) supporting or hosting web applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Ability to learn new technologies, tools, and processes quickly.
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of Java Full Stack Development experience.
- Exposure to Angular development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in global delivery environments.
