Prospero Teaching is recruiting STEM Teachers and confident STEM graduates for long‑term roles starting September 2026. These exciting opportunities include both subject‑specific teaching roles and general classroom cover across secondary schools in the DT1 area and within a 25‑mile radius.
Access to your own transport is an advantage.
🔬 Roles Available
* Three long‑term teaching roles covering cross‑curricular STEM subjects, including A‑Level classes
* General Cover Supervisor positions, supporting lessons across multiple subjects including Maths, Science, Technology, and English
🎓 Who We're Looking For
Qualified Teaching Roles
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in a STEM subject (Maths, Science, Technology, Engineering)
Graduate / Non‑Qualified Roles
* Degree or strong academic background in a relevant subject
* Classroom experience preferred (but not essential)
* Confident presence, strong communication, and effective behaviour management skills
