SEN (ASD) Teaching Assistant – Autism Specialist School

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £95-£115 per day / £475-£575 per week
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only

We are recruiting for a specialist SEN school that supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and well-resourced setting where staff work together to create meaningful learning experiences and help pupils develop confidence, independence, and life skills.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and adaptable individuals who are committed to making a difference every day.

The Role

* Supporting children with Autism across the school day

* Helping pupils access learning activities and achieve individual targets

* Encouraging communication, social development, and independence

* Working collaboratively with teachers and specialist staff

* Providing a calm, positive, and consistent approach to support

What We're Looking For

* A genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs

* A positive, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude

* Patience, flexibility, and adaptability

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues

Desirable

* Previous experience supporting children with Autism (ASD)

* Experience within education, care, support work, or similar environments

* Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, SEN, Childcare, or equivalent
