Hales Group are recruiting for a Utility Operator in Bury St Edmunds to support operations by handling raw materials and finished products efficiently, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Weighing and loading finished products accurately, ensuring correct feed types are dispatched and quality checks are completed.
Weighing incoming and outgoing raw material vehicles, carrying out quality checks, and direct materials to the correct storage locations.
Preparing and supplying hand-tip ingredients for blending as required.
Operating press and blending equipment when needed.
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the mill in line with company requirements.
Following and contributing to site hygiene routines and improvement plans.
Carrying out stock checks and assist with inventory control activities.
Undertaking swabbing and sampling processes to support quality assurance.
Ensuring food safety is always a priority in daily activities.
Working in accordance with UFAS standards and support the company in meeting and exceeding these requirements.
Adhering to all site and company health and safety policies and procedures.
