MEP Engineering Manager – HS2
Temp (Umbrella PAYE) or Perm
We are working with a JV partner delivering a £700M project as part of the wider HS2 scheme.
Our client is looking for technically gifted MEP Engineering Manager with experience in rail station, rail depot, or airport terminal design. This is a newly awarded project with the MEP design sitting at RIBA Stage 3 – you will be working closely with consultants to help develop the design into its final, buildable form as well as working as part of the wider delivery team to push this project along in a timely manner. This project sits in pre-construction until 2028.
We expect you to have extensive experience in MEP Design and Engineering Management, having delivered major rail or aviation projects from contract award to handover. Your background will be working for either the principal contractor or MEP subcontractor and will have been qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering to at least HND level. Being a chartered engineer is an advantage.
The likely route forward will be to start on contract, before taking on the role permanently toward the back end of 2026
