Senior Ecologist - Team Leader Opportunity
An experienced and ambitious Senior Ecologist is sought to lead a growing ecology team within a respected environmental consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys balancing technical excellence with team leadership and project delivery. The successful candidate will take the lead on a diverse portfolio of ecological projects, managing surveys, assessments, mitigation strategies and licensing work across a range of sectors. They will provide guidance and mentorship to junior ecologists, helping to develop skills, maintain high technical standards and foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements;
Degree-qualified in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline.

Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
Proven project management and report-writing skills.
Protected species survey licences desirable.
Full UK driving licence.
