Birmingham – Castle Vale - Hybrid

12-month fixed term maternity cover contract starting Monday 3rd August 2026

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive People Team Administrator to join our team on a 12-month fixed term maternity cover contract starting Monday 3rd August 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a team environment and enjoys balancing multiple priorities while bringing a creative touch to their work.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the People Team, and on occasions the wider directorate, across a range of administrative and recruitment activities, helping to deliver a seamless employee experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Providing efficient administrative support to the People Team, and monitoring and maintaining systems such as the employee database, purchase order and specialist data bases

* Coordinating recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and candidate communication, helping to create engaging recruitment content, including videos

* Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle administration

* Assisting with internal communications and People initiatives

* Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy environment

* Supporting meetings by taking minutes

* Booking training and liaising with training providers

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail

* A strong multitasker, able to prioritise workload effectively

* Creative, with a flair for developing engaging content

* Experience in Canva would be an advantage

* Confident using systems and Microsoft Office tools

* A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills

* Passionate about delivering a positive employee experience

* Previous experience in a HR or administrative role
