IT Services Engineer - £29,500 - £37,000 - Harrogate
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join their established IT Operations team, supporting customers across the North Yorkshire region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys a hands-on role, combining on-site and remote support across multiple locations. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality IT services, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring users receive an efficient and responsive support experience.
The role offers a varied workload, autonomy, and the opportunity to work within a well-established organisation supporting critical operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver first and second-line IT support across multiple customer sites.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, and peripheral issues.
Support desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and end-user technologies.
Provide both remote and on-site technical support to users.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and technical procedures.
Work collaboratively with wider IT teams to deliver service improvements and project work.Skills & Experience:
Essential
Previous experience within an IT Support, Desktop Support, Service Desk, or IT Engineer role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows environments.
Knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for business use.Desirable
Experience supporting users across multiple sites.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies.
Experience working within service-driven IT environments.
Exposure to healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments.What's on Offer
