Transport Operator
Location: Stowmarket - IP14 2QU
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am - 3pm
Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour

We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Transport Operator to join our busy transport team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

Duties Include:

Dispatching drivers at the start of their shifts
Debriefing drivers and collecting paperwork at the end of their routes
Managing and filing transport paperwork
Answering driver queries and providing support where needed
Assisting with the day-to-day transport operation
Helping ensure the daily transport plan runs smoothlyRequirements:

Good communication and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic IT skills
Previous transport or logistics experience is beneficial but not essentialYou can look forward to the following benefits:
