Hours: Mon–Fri 1pm–9pm | Agency: 12 weeks | Rate: £14.91

Cogent staffing are urgently recruiting a production team member to help deliver safe, efficient chemical manufacturing to quality and production targets. You will primarily support HPR (High Pressure Reactor) operations, and be flexible to support other production areas as required.

THE ROLE

* Operate/monitor HPR and chemical manufacturing processes in line with SOPs, batch instructions, and work instructions

* Charge raw materials as instructed

* Monitor and maintain process parameters (temperature/pressure/timing) within authorised limits

* Carry out routine equipment checks; report faults/deviations

* Complete production records accurately; carry out sampling/basic quality checks

* Maintain H&S, environmental, and quality standards + good housekeeping

* Support continuous improvement and other tasks as required

THE CANDIDATE

* Experience in manufacturing/chemical processing/production (desirable)

* Able to follow procedures accurately and work to quality standards

* Strong attention to detail; good record keeping and communication

* Ability to monitor processes and spot issues

* Manual handling experience; computer literate

* Flexible, reliable, positive attitude; able to work in a fast-paced environment

* Counterbalance forklift licence (must have)

* First Aid and/or Fire Warden training (or willing to train)
