Fixed Term Contract (21 Months)

Join our expert gardening team over the next 21 months to maintain and improve our landscaped gardens in and around Stoke-on-Trent. Please note, this role will require 4 days working in Stoke-on-Trent, and 1 day at college in Nantwich.
Working hours:
* Work from 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday.
* Work from 8am to 3:30pm on Fridays.
What you’ll do:
* Learn to use and maintain power tools like lawn mowers, brush cutters, blowers and hedge trimmers.
* Work with our team to deliver grounds maintenance across our sites based around Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire completing lawn mowing, hedge cutting, weeding and litter picking.
* Maintain communication with supervisors as well as regular one-to-ones.
* Attain a Level 2 Horticulture qualification and how to deliver customer care.
Who you are:
* 2 GCSE’s grade 2 or above or equivalent including English and Maths, is desirable.
* Previous experience in gardening at home or for relatives is desirable.
* Willing to learn and develop through on-the-job training and skills.
* Willing to work in all weather conditions.
* Physically fit and able to carry out required duties.
* Hard-working and reliable.
