Location: Central London (Hybrid Working 1 day a week)
Duration: 6–12 Months (FTC or Interim Contract Inside IR35)
Salary / Day Rate: Competitive and dependent upon experience, qualifications and level of appointment
The Opportunity
A leading property and estate management organisation is seeking a Health & Safety professional to join its team supporting one of London's most prestigious mixed-use estates.
The organisation is open to considering candidates from Advisor through to Senior Manager level, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced Health & Safety Advisors looking to step up and established Managers seeking a new challenge.
The successful candidate will support the management of health, safety and compliance across a diverse property portfolio comprising commercial office buildings, retail and leisure facilities, public realm spaces and residential assets.
This is a varied and operational role requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Facilities Management, Property Management, Operations and contractor teams.
The Role
Key responsibilities may include:
* Providing competent Health & Safety advice across a complex property portfolio
* Supporting the development and continuous improvement of Health & Safety management systems
* Undertaking audits, inspections and compliance reviews
* Supporting incident investigations and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Monitoring contractor performance and safe systems of work
* Reviewing risk assessments, method statements and permit systems
* Supporting compliance with statutory obligations and industry best practice
* Working closely with operational teams to manage risk across commercial, retail and residential environments
* Producing reports, recommendations and performance information for management teams
* Promoting a positive and proactive safety culture throughout the estate
About You
We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within one or more of the following sectors:
* Commercial Property
* Property Management
* Facilities Management (Hard FM)
* Real Estate
* Building Safety
* Compliance and Assurance
* Mixed-Use Developments
* High-Rise Buildings
You will be a practical and collaborative Health & Safety professional with the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
* NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
* Relevant Health & Safety experience within property, facilities management, building safety or a similar environment
* Experience undertaking audits, inspections and incident investigations
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience of building safety compliance and regulatory frameworks
* Experience working within large or complex property portfolios
* Knowledge of commercial, retail and residential environments
