An established manufacturing business is looking to strengthen its engineering team with the appointment of a Maintenance Engineer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement and engineering excellence are at the heart of the operation.

Working as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, you’ll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime across site.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repair.

* Complete planned preventative maintenance activities to a high standard.

* Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

* Use structured problem-solving techniques to identify and eliminate root causes of failures.

* Work on a variety of electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

* Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematic drawings.

* Support maintenance improvement projects and equipment upgrades.

* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.

* Accurately complete maintenance records and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.

* Apprentice trained or equivalent practical engineering background.

* Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong electrical fault-finding ability.

* Working knowledge of:

* AC & DC Motors

* Variable Speed Drives

* Control Systems

* Electrical Installations

* Pneumatics

* Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics.

* A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.

* Strong communication and team-working skills.

Desirable Experience

* Reliability engineering experience.

* Continuous improvement methodologies and root cause analysis.

* Experience supporting engineering projects and equipment upgrades.

£46,417 Basic Salary

Shift Pattern: Rotating 3 Shift Pattern (Earlies, Lates & Nights)

* 6am - 2pm

* 2pm - 10pm

* 10pm - 6am
