Work Location: Leeds, West yorkshire

Mode of working: Hybrid / 2-days based on-site in Leeds

Day Rate: £550 to £600 DoE

Are you a proven Implementation Lead with strong experience in delivery management within MSO / managed services environments? Do you have a solid understanding of: IT infrastructure (cloud/on-prem), Application lifecycle management and Networking and system integrations?

If so, our client TCS a purpose-led transformation company who work along-side the he third-largest building society in the UK, serving more than 3 million members are seeking a hands-on Technical Consultant to drive MSO (Managed Services Operations) delivery management, ensuring smooth routes-to-live, timely resolution of technical challenges, and successful delivery of IT and engineering outcomes.

This role demands a “sleeves rolled up” problem solver with proven experience in resolving complex, large-scale issues—not just oversight—along with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

Core Technical & Delivery Skills

* Strong experience in delivery management within MSO / managed services environments.

* Proven track record of resolving large-scale, complex technical issues.

* Solid understanding of:

* IT infrastructure (cloud/on-prem)

* Application lifecycle management

* Networking and system integrations

* Familiarity with ITSM frameworks (ITIL) and tools like ServiceNow, Jira, etc.

Leadership & Collaboration

* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive outcomes under pressure.

* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills at multiple organisational levels.

* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including executive reporting.

Your responsibilities:

Delivery & Operations Management

* Own and manage end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, and routes-to-live.

* Ensure service readiness, stability, and operational compliance during deployments.

* Identify and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks proactively.

* Drive incident, problem, and change management processes in line with best practices.

Technical Problem Solving

* Lead the resolution of critical, high-impact technical issues across infrastructure, applications, and platforms.

* Act as a technical escalation point, ensuring root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes.

* Work closely with engineering and support teams to troubleshoot complex system integrations and failures.

Stakeholder & Team Management

* Collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and client stakeholders to align delivery goals.

* Provide clear, concise communication on delivery progress, risks, and issues.

* Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance and accountability-driven culture.

Continuous Improvement

* Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains within MSO delivery.

* Promote DevOps, SRE, and Agile methodologies to enhance delivery outcomes.

* Contribute to knowledge management and best practice standardisation
