Join a growing Data Centre team where hands-on technical expertise is valued and leadership potential is developed. This role is ideal for an experienced Data Centre Technician ready to step into a Team Leader position, or someone with strong aspirations to progress into management over time.
Your new role
* Install, maintain and decommission server, network and storage hardware
* Perform copper and fibre cabling, patching and remote hands support
* Act as a technical escalation point and support junior technicians
* Lead client interactions, access hosting and service meetings
* Drive operational standards, documentation and workspace improvements
* Support recruitment, onboarding and mentoring of new team members
* Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota for critical Data Centre operations
What you’ll need to succeed
* Experience in Data Centre environments
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to work under pressure and take ownership of issues
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
* Eligibility for SC and BPSS security clearance
* A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop into leadership
