HR Advisor
Location: Tewkesbury (Office-Based)
Hours: 40 per week

A well‑established, local organisation is seeking a professional and proactive HR Advisor to join their busy Human Resources team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive HR support across the full employee life cycle while contributing to key HR projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate advice and guidance to managers and employees on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and absence management
Support and coach line managers to enhance their people management capability
Manage general HR administration, including contract amendments, leaver processes, and retention activities
Work collaboratively with Payroll, Recruitment, and Learning & Development to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience
Contribute to HR projects, policy reviews, and the implementation of HR initiatives aligned with organisational strategy
Analyse HR data and prepare reports on key people metrics to support decision‑making
Promote employee benefits and represent the organisation at local job fairs, schools, and community events
Person Specification
Essential
CIPD Level 5 qualification
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Possess current knowledge of Employment Law
Proactive approach with strong problem‑solving capability
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider HR team
Desirable
Experience working within a multi‑site organisation
Knowledge of HR systems and involvement in HR project delivery
