Renewables Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join a growing team delivering renewable energy installations across commercial, industrial and residential projects. The Role

As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, testing and commissioning works on renewable energy projects including:

• Solar PV installations
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• EV Charging Infrastructure
• Renewable energy upgrades and electrical improvements
• Commercial and industrial electrical installations

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of containment, cabling, distribution boards and associated electrical equipment
• Installation and connection of Solar PV systems, inverters and battery storage systems
• Testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical installations
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations
• Completing installation documentation and certification
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (Essential)
• ECS Gold Card
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience within commercial, industrial or renewable energy projects
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
