TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Salford, seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, the school has a supportive and inclusive culture with a team of kind and dedicated staff who work collaboratively to provide the best outcomes for every child.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a Year 3 class, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities, provide targeted intervention support and help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Experience working within a UK Primary School setting
• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
