Building Surveyor - Condition Surveys & Asset Planning
£40,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
North West | Hybrid Working
We are seeking a Building Surveyor to join an established Asset and Lifecycle team delivering condition surveys and asset assessments across a varied operational property portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who enjoys site-based surveying work and wants to develop further within asset management and lifecycle planning.
The majority of your time will be spent carrying out condition surveys, assessing building fabric and collecting asset information that supports long-term estate planning and investment decisions.
The Role
- Conduct building fabric condition surveys
- Assess asset condition and remaining life expectancy
- Identify defects and maintenance requirements
- Produce survey reports and technical documentation
- Support lifecycle planning activities
- Update asset information and survey records
- Liaise with operational teams and stakeholders
- Support investment planning and asset strategies
What We're Looking For
- Experience undertaking building condition surveys
- Building Surveying, Property Surveying or Asset Surveying background
- Good understanding of building fabric
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent report writing skills
- Ability to work independently on site
Suitable backgrounds may include
- Building Surveyor
- Asset Surveyor
- Stock Condition Surveyor
- Property Surveyor
- Asset Condition Surveyor
- Assistant Building Surveyor looking to step up
Desirable
- Public sector experience
- Education or healthcare estate exposure
- CAFM experience
- Lifecycle planning exposure
