Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for a new opportunity in September?

Do you want to work with an iniviatative provision who strives to set achieveable goals for students?

We are working in parntership with a Specialist Provision school who are looking to recruit a teacher for the new academic year in their primary provision. The school offers a warm and nurturing framework for pupils with advanced SEND and Behavioural needs and works to give pupils a positive and enriching experience in education.

You will be teaching pupils who have a variety of academic levels, grouped together by ability rather than age. Lessons will include enrichment activities and learning opportunities which help then prepare to move over to the school's secondary site. The school has wonderful fascilities for SEND and Physical needs and rewards pupils for creativity and indepedence.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual pupil needs

*

Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and PMLD

*

Differentiate learning to ensure all pupils can access the curriculum

*

Implement and review EHCP targets and support plans

*

Manage behaviour positively and promote emotional wellbeing

*

Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parents/carers

*

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

*

Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively

You will need:

*

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN

*

Strong understanding of additional needs and differentiated learning

*

Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach

*

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

*

Passion for supporting children with additional needs
