Academics, a trusted supply agency proudly supporting local schools for over 15 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the centre of Crewe.
The Role
You will be working full time within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Helping to adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needs
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable)
Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about education
Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Is reliable and committed to a full-time role
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
