Our client, a reputable family-run dealership in Chiswick, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to work with a respected automotive brand, offering the chance to develop skills in hybrid and electric vehicle servicing within a supportive environment.

45 hours per week with Saturday mornings on a rota

Work with hybrid, electric, and traditional vehiclesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct diagnostics, inspections, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Interpret work orders, source and manage parts efficiently
Perform road tests and complete warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Record all work accurately and communicate additional faults to management
Liaise effectively with customers regarding repair progress and technical details
Maintain and update knowledge of current automotive technology and techniques
Support ongoing training requirements to enhance diagnostic and repair skillsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in automotive engineering
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
Experience with EV and HV systems is desirable
MOT testing experience is preferred but can be provided through training
Full UK driving licence
Own tools suitable for vehicle repairs
Reliable, with strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
