Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (full-time)
Location: North of Cambridge City - no parking on site but there is parking available approx 10 minute walk
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 WFH
Duration:Ongoing
Pay rate: £17.94 per hour
Our client is looking for a Senior Administrator to play a key role in delivering outstanding international visits, programmes and ambassadorial travel support. This is a fast-paced, varied role suited to someone who thrives on coordination, communication and precision.
The Role You’ll be central to the smooth delivery of Global Outreach activity—coordinating visits to Cambridge, supporting international travel, and ensuring every programme runs seamlessly from planning to delivery. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and global partners, bringing energy, organisation and a strong service mindset to everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
Global Outreach Administration
Act as the first point of contact for Global Outreach enquiries, providing timely, professional and welcoming responses to international partners
Organise short introductory visits to Cambridge, coordinating diaries, meetings and logistics, and ensuring visitors receive a warm and professional welcome
Plan and deliver longer paid programmes (half-day to multi-day), managing logistics end-to-end including venues, accommodation, catering, speakers, communications and invoicingTravel Coordination
Coordinate international travel for colleagues representing the organisation overseas, working closely with PAs and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and well-planned itinerariesProgramme & Project Support
Provide key administrative and logistical support across Global Outreach projects and programmes
Support delivery of a major strategic international initiative, assisting with event logistics and programme administration as requiredEssential Skills & Experience
Proven experience planning international travel and building clear, efficient itineraries
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Calm, flexible and solutions-focused, especially when plans change at short notice
High emotional intelligence with the ability to work professionally and warmly with stakeholders at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and friendly style
Strong cultural awareness and curiosity, with confidence working with global audiencesDesirable
