Geography Teacher – Secondary School (Northampton)
Full-Time | Permanent | September 2026 Start
A well-established and supportive secondary school in Northampton is seeking a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a strong and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the subject and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Geography lessons
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
Contributing to the wider Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for someone who is:
A qualified teacher with QTS or ECT status
At least 3 months teaching in the UK
Passionate about Geography and education
Confident in managing behaviour and engaging learners
Committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students
Able to work collaboratively within a team
