Multi-Trade Operative
East London
Permanent 40 hours per week
Salary: up to £38,600
Van & fuel card provided
31 days annual leave (this includes bank holiday)
Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to work on a permanent contract with a local authority in East London.
The successful candidate will be carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works across both commercial and domestic properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship across multiple trades.
The Role:
Carrying out a range of multi-trade maintenance and repair works
Working across commercial and domestic properties
Trades may include basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting & decorating
Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards
Customer-facing role within occupied and unoccupied propertiesRequirements:
Level 2 City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in a main trade
OR
Minimum 3 years’ time-served experience
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Previous experience within maintenance or property repairs is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and manage workload
