The job description below will outline the position of Workshop Engineer

Typically, this person will be involved in a range of activities surrounding the maintenance of engines and ancillary equipment. Such as engine servicing, repairs, ancillary repairs, and more - a solid mechanical fitter, generator engineer, marine engineer, agricultural or HGV engineer will suit this position.

HSB Technical’s client is an established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer:

* Prepare and maintain engines and associated equipment

* Ability to diagnose faults on diesel engines and associated electrical systems

* Perform routine maintenance such as regular engine servicing as per the manufacturer's maintenance schedules

* Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment

* Carry out Pre-Delivery Tests & Inspections to the highest standard

* Identify and plan work in a methodical manner to meet equipment dispatch targets

* Ensure a proactive health and safety culture is adhered to and maintained

Qualifications and requirements for the Workshop Engineer:

* Ability to drive

* A relevant qualification in the Mechanical or Electrical field or time served
