Your Role

As a Quality Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products, processes, and documentation meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. You will conduct inspection activities including measuring, examining, and gauging components and assemblies, comparing results against engineering specifications and customer requirements.

You will accurately record inspection results, identify and contain non-conforming products, and ensure all delivered products fully conform to specified requirements. Working with a "Stop at First Defect" mindset, you will help drive quality excellence across the business while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting visual and dimensional inspections using appropriate inspection equipment
- Validating and recording inspection operations in line with procedures and technical documentation
- Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and quality documentation to verify conformity
- Identifying, documenting, and containing non-conforming products
- Raising, recording, and closing Quality Notifications (QNs) in accordance with company procedures
- Completing and validating delivery and release documentation as required
- Supporting QRQC reviews through accurate reporting of inspection and quality data
- Participating in quality improvement and QN eradication projects
- Verifying rework and repair activities to ensure compliance with approved standards
- Promoting and championing a proactive quality culture across the organisation

What You'll Bring

- Time-served apprenticeship in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Experience performing visual and dimensional inspections using standard inspection equipment
- Knowledge of quality documentation such as First Article Inspection (FAI), PVI, PPAP, batch cards, and quality notifications
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software including MS Office, SAP, and Adobe
- Understanding of quality procedures, non-conformance management, and inspection processes
- Ability to inspect and approve rework and repair activities in accordance with procedures
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Meets the required standards for visual acuity, with or without corrective lenses
