About the Role
We are currently recruiting caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our growing agency team in Middlesborough, Darlington and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible working across a range of luxury care homes, providing essential support to service users. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and supporting individuals with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
·Provide high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
·Assist with feeding and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met
·Support service users with daily living activities in line with care plans
·Provide emotional support and companionship
·Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour to senior staff
·Maintain accurate records and documentation
·Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
·Follow care plans, risk assessments, and policies at all times
·Work closely with nurses, senior staff, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements
·Minimum 6 months experience as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK
·A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach
·Basic understanding of health & safety, safeguarding, and infection control
·Good communication and teamwork skills
·Ability to work flexible shifts (days, nights, weekends)
·Right to work in the UK
·Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable
·NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
·Experience in care homes, hospitals, or supported living settings
·Training in manual handling, first aid, or basic life support
