Sweeper driver required for our client based in Reading
Times can vary 5:30, 7:30,11:00 or 12pm start.
Must provide safety shoes but all uniform and PPE will be provided.
The post holder will carry out a range of manual powered machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness across public highways.
The role involves working to set schedules, following health and safety procedures, wearing PPE at all times, and engaging positively with members of the public.
The Driver / Sweeper will report issues such as graffiti, hazards and damage, and work closely with supervisors and colleagues as part of a wider operational team.
We are looking for candidates with a full driving licence (minimum Cat B), a good standard of numeracy and literacy, and experience of outdoor manual work and using powered machinery.
An understanding of basic vehicle maintenance, safe lifting techniques and strong teamwork skills are essential, alongside a flexible approach to working hours to meet service needs
