Handyman -Temporary Contract

Location: Downham Market, Norfolk

The Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to support an upcoming project in Downham Market, Norfolk. This is a temporary position for approximately 10 weeks, working closely alongside an experienced Site Manager on the refurbishment of derelict residential properties.

You will be assisting with a range of general maintenance and second-fix tasks to help bring properties back up to standard.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with general property refurbishment works

* Door and cabinet adjustments

* Installing door stops and skirting

* Second-fix carpentry works

* Installing shelves, wall units, plinths, and window sills

* Basic lock replacements

* Installing trickle vents and coving

* Toilet pan installations

* Window adjustments

* Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day tasks as required

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a handyman or multi-trade operative

* Basic carpentry and general maintenance skills

* Ability to work effectively as part of a small team

* Own tools preferred

* Reliable, punctual, and proactive
