Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

PK Education are working with a secondary school in Rotherham who are looking to appoint a Chemistry Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Science department with strong leadership, modern laboratory facilities, and excellent support across the faculty.

The school are particularly keen to hear from Chemistry specialists who can deliver engaging practical and theory lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching available for suitably experienced candidates.

The department has a collaborative culture with shared resources, strong technician support, and a clear focus on raising achievement within Science.

The Role

Teaching Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
Potential KS5 teaching depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging practical lessons
Monitoring and assessing student progress
Supporting the wider Science department
What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Specialism in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
Ability to engage and inspire learners
Passion for practical science and student achievement
The school has supportive leadership, strong behaviour systems, and a positive working environment for staff.
