· Manage a varied caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and other people-related cases.

· Partner with managers and leaders to support effective people management and decision-making.

· Influence and challenge stakeholders to ensure consistent application of policy and best practice.

· Support the delivery of the People Relations strategy and contribute to wider People & Culture initiatives.

· Analyse case trends and people data to identify opportunities for improvement and proactive interventions.

· Develop strong relationships across the business to understand operational challenges and provide practical HR solutions.

· Deliver guidance, coaching and training to managers to enhance their people management capability.

· Support policy reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of people processes and documentation.

· Collaborate with colleagues across People & Culture to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.

Who we’re looking for:

We're interested in hearing from HR professionals who have:

· Significant experience in a People Relations, Employee Relations or HR Advisor role.

· Strong case management experience within a large, complex or multi-site organisation.

· Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.

· Experience advising and influencing managers at all levels.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.

· The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

· Experience producing high-quality HR documentation and correspondence.

· Strong organisational and administrative skills.

· CIPD qualification (full or part qualified) or equivalent experience.

Who we are:

We’re not just talking about making a difference, we’re making it happen. We generate dispatchable, renewable power and create stable energy in an uncertain world. Building on our proud heritage, we have ambition to become the global leader in sustainable biomass and carbon removals.

You’ll be joining our teams of practical doers, future thinkers and business champions. We’re enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future for all, and working hard to decarbonise the planet for generations to come.

Rewards and benefits:

As you help us to shape the future, we’ve shaped our rewards and benefits to help you thrive and support

your lifestyle. If successful in this role you’ll get:

· A discretionary bonus depending on company performance

· Private Healthcare

· SAYE (Sharesave): discretionary scheme from time to time

· Personal accident cover

· Group personal pension plan where we’ll pay up to 10%

· Holiday 25 days plus bank holidays

· Reimbursement of the cost of your annual membership of one relevant and appropriate professional body
