We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join a Cardiff office. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of residential and commercial building projects across South Wales and the UK.
About the Role
As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be involved in all stages of project delivery, gaining valuable hands-on experience while developing your technical and professional skills. You will work closely with senior engineers and directors, contributing to the design and analysis of structures ranging from bespoke residential developments to multi-storey commercial schemes.
Key Responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role;
Assisting with the structural design of residential and commercial buildings using a variety of materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
Preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
Supporting site inspections and structural surveys.
Liaising with architects, contractors, and other design team members.
Working towards professional chartership with full mentoring and support.About You
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng/MEng).
Strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for structural engineering.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of structural design software is advantageous but not essential.What We Offer
