Lecturer in Health

Salary: Pro rata of £27,785 - £43,325 per annum (i.e. £15,394.39 - £24,004.39) plus pro rata of £610.08 Crawley Weighting (i.e. £338.02)

Hours: 20.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Health, Care and Early Years to join our dynamic team. You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across a range of Health and Social Care qualifications, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for progression into further study or employment in the sector.

As our Lecturer in Health, key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering innovative, learner-centred lessons

Assessing and tracking student progress

Providing support, guidance and enrichment opportunities

Contributing to curriculum development and quality improvement

As our Lecturer in Health, you will have the following skills and experience:

Relevant industrial/commercial/subject experience

Level 2 literacy and numeracy

Degree in related subject

Managing diverse groups of students

Teaching and assessing learners

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

An understanding of safeguarding vulnerable groups

Time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to meet targets and deadlines
