Role Responsibilities

Deliver a broad range of Fire & Security / ELV services across high-rise residential new-build developments and occupied housing projects.
Demonstrate experience working within both high-rise residential construction environments and occupied residential properties.
Take ownership of complex projects from initial pre-construction stages through to final account settlement.
Apply strong knowledge of JCT contracts and manage the full commercial process, including valuations, variations, payment applications, final accounts, contractual notices, correspondence, and compliance requirements.
Independently oversee cost management, profit and loss reporting, cash flow forecasting, and all associated commercial administration.
Coordinate procurement activities while managing subcontractor and supply chain performance to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Maintain a sound understanding of health & safety legislation, CDM regulations, and project compliance obligations.
Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Experience Required for a Commercial Quantity Surveyor

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role within the Fire & Security, Electrical, or MEP sectors.
Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and their practical application.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects from pre-start through to final account.
Good understanding of health & safety requirements, CDM regulations, and project compliance standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio, with experience using project management and CRM platforms.
