Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Midlands (with occasional travel as required)
Salary: £60,000 + Company Car + Fuel Card + Benefits
My client is a well-established and growing Mechanical Building Services contractor delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, industrial and specialist sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual looking to take ownership of multiple projects and play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical installations from pre-construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Managing multiple mechanical projects simultaneously.
Procuring labour packages and managing labour resources.
Sourcing and managing subcontractor packages.
Preparing valuations and applications for payment.
Identifying and implementing value engineering opportunities.
Pricing and managing project variations.
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed programmes.
Managing project costs and ensuring profitability targets are achieved.
Liaising with clients, consultants and site teams throughout project delivery.
Supporting the pre-construction team with estimating and tendering activities when required.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the Building Services or M&E sector.
Strong commercial awareness and project financial management skills.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
Ability to manage subcontractors, labour and client relationships effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.
